  • Artist's Statement

I am a conceptual sculptor. I use acts of destruction and time restrictions to create works of art that comment on technology, American consumerism and cultural beauty. These conceptual sculptures are called temporal sculptures (sculptures with a time element). Temporal sculptures are created as a performance. These sculptures are created on stage to musical accompaniment. The performance takes an audience through a studio art experience in which a piece of sculpture "magically" appears at the end of the show. Most temporal sculptures are performed in an hour or less.

  • Most Recent Work

In 2005 I created a temporal sculpture that was made in the time of a year. This piece is called "Emerson Time Machine MMV" 88K. I consider myself the world's first "Art Ilusionist."
